The privacy statement below is preserved from the current Uncommon Journeys website.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Uncommon Journeys & Train Holidays operates this website. This statement explains how information is handled when you browse our journeys, contact us, subscribe to emails, or follow a booking link.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share. Our email signup forms collect your email address. Booking links take you to WeTravel, where additional traveler and payment information may be requested to arrange your trip. Please review the privacy information presented by WeTravel before submitting a booking.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, arrange and support travel, administer requested services and offers, and send journey announcements and marketing emails when you subscribe. Website usage information helps us understand visitors and measure advertising performance, subject to your cookie choices.
Service providers and external websites
Squarespace hosts this website and provides website analytics. Constant Contact processes email subscriptions and email communications. Google services used on the site include advertising measurement and reCAPTCHA for form protection. WeTravel handles the booking experience on its own website. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and, where applicable, their arrangements with Uncommon Journeys. Links to travel protection, social media, and other external services take you to independently operated websites whose privacy policies apply there.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar technologies help operate the website, remember preferences, understand website use, and measure advertising. Essential technologies support site operation and security. Use the cookie banner to accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or manage available categories. You can reopen Cookie Preferences to change your choice. Your browser also provides controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some features. Choices on this website do not automatically change preferences on WeTravel or other external websites.
Email preferences
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any Constant Contact email. Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel an existing booking or necessary communications about a trip you have arranged.
Privacy questions and requests
To ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, call 800-323-5893 or write to Uncommon Journeys & Train Holidays, 25 Crescent Drive, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, USA. The rights available to you and any exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Some booking, transaction, or correspondence records may need to be retained for service, accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Security and international processing
Online services involve transmission and storage of information through service providers, including providers in the United States and other countries. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment-card details, passport copies, or sensitive travel information through the general email signup form; use the booking process or contact our concierge for instructions.
